Demon Heavy Duty Axles are constructed using larger constant angle pivots and shafts combined with our proprietary double heat treatment process, and a 4340 chromoly steel CV inner cage gives these axles the edge they need for superior strength and durability. These axles also utilize a unique dual plunger design that allows them to achieve approximately higher articulation angles, the axles are designed to slide over the splines of the handlebars, providing 1.5 inches of travel and 40 degrees of articulation over terrain at the inner pivot. The outer pivot can move 0.5 inches and oscillate between 45 degrees and 47 degrees depending on the model. Demon Heavy Duty Axles feature TPEE (Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer) boots that are stronger, stiffer, more fatigue resistant, more puncture resistant, and more temperature resistant than standard OEM boots.
