These axles also use a unique dual plunger design that allows for higher articulation angles, the axles are designed to slide over the splines of the handlebars, providing 1.5 inches of travel and 40 degrees of articulation over the terrain at the inner pivot. The outer pivot can move 0.5 inches and swing from 45 degrees to 47 degrees depending on the model. Demon Heavy Duty axles feature TPEE (Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer) boots that are stronger, stiffer, more fatigue resistant, more puncture resistant and more temperature resistant than standard OEM boots.
