NEW OEM Can Am Updated Cam Chain and Updated Guide Kit 2006-Current 500, 570, 650, 800 V-Twins These chains and guides are a common problem on 2006-2008 500/650/800 V-twin ATVs. The chains fail and start to cut the plastic guides. One of two things happens: First, the camshaft (usually the front cylinder head, primarily) fails and the valves hit the piston. Second, the oil catch strainer gets clogged with guide material. The engine oil can’t circulate through the engine, usually spinning the big-head connecting rod bearings. This kit includes updated chains and guides, avoiding this problem completely. Order one (1) per engine.
