These one-piece precision formed lifters are machined from SAE 4130 chrome moly tubing, centerless ground to tight tolerances and hardened to RC60 hardness. The standard LS length is 7.400″ but any of the following may affect the required lifter length and each Application may vary Cylinder head thickness Cylinder block height Valve stem length Rocker arm brand Camshaft base circle diameter Lifter design etc. We strongly recommend that you measure your specific application to determine the correct tappet length due to the number of variables involved. We cannot recommend a length based solely on a combination and the only way to determine the required length is to measure correctly.
